The use of Allah episode 2

Opps... did I said that word again? Yup... I am saying that word again.

PAS President Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang suggested that the first principle of the Malaysian Rukunegara be amended from "Belief in GOD" to "Belief in Allah". Reason being is the word "Allah" is widely used by non-Muslims.

Now, I am very confused. Very very confused indeed. If PAS President claimed that Quran did not bar followers of other religions from using the word "Allah", why there are such a big hoo-ha during the past few months when the issue was stirred up? Who was behind all those church-torching acts? Who was politicizing the issues? Who is the beneficial of this plot? If PAS leadership made such a claim, does it mean there are someone else actually trying to win votes by "trying" to solve the issues?

Where is our belief and our principles that we as Malaysian vowed to uphold?

Kepercayaan Kepada Tuhan -- BELIEF IN GOD

Kesetiaan Kepada Raja dan Negara -- LOYALTY TO KING AND COUNTRY

Keluhuran Perlembagaan -- THE SUPREMACY OF THE CONSTITUTION

Kedaulatan Undang-undang -- THE RULE OF LAW

Kesopanan dan Kesusilaan -- COURTESY AND MORALITY

Where is our courtesy and morality when this people are plotting to disturb the peace of Malaysian Multi-Racial, Multi-Religions cultural? Don't tell me those in the custody for church-torching are the actual person-in-charge. Think logically, what will these people gain if they burn the church and have a risk to be caught and jailed? Are our youngsters today really that brainless and not responsible? If yes, I think we have our education system to be blamed. Else, I would think otherwise.

I am very confused now, can I use "Allah" now? I don't want to get my car and my house burned. I don't want to get my blogspot hacked as well.

I just want to do something for my future generation. Do my part to stop the climate change, and hopefully it will be able to reverse the change.

The use of "Allah"

Personally, I do not have preference of the court's decision on this word, because I am neither Muslim nor Christian. However, it concern me about one issue, and I think it is a concern of most people in this community as well. Does this mean I am not allowed to say "Allah", because I am not Muslim. If this is true, that means I will have to use the word "GOD" to whoever I am speaking to. And that arises another problem. Will Christian prohibit me from using the word "GOD", because I am not Christian? If this is true, I have no other words to use when I am referring to the almighty, but to use my Chinese word. But extremist again raise another issue, which is accusing me for "Trying to Convert" them into believing "MY GOD"?

As per my understanding from Wikipedia, Allah is an Arabic word of GOD. The word Allah, is just merely a vocabulary, but extremist can politicize on the issue, and capitalized on it to win votes, to get support, and to be famous.

I am writing on this blog to express myself, my thought, and my opinion. If extremist wants to keep the words from being used by other people that is not in their religion, I suggest them to pattern the word. Next step is to not even say that word to anyone else that is not in their religion. This is to prevent other from knowing that word and use it.

If anyone intend to solve the conflict between these 2 religions (Islam and Christianity), I think is a waste of time, as both has been fighting since 2000+ years ago until today. However if we intend to make everyone from different religious to stay peaceful with each other, we already made it for the past 52 years. Are we going to destroy what our forefather has built for us? Or are we going to continue to achieve a more peaceful living for our country? Ain't we very proud of our nation's ability of accepting differences of every religions and ain't we understanding?

The act of torching the church is just an act of minority extremist, or is just an act of the ignorant. Politicians and leaders please stop politicize the issues, and please spend more effort in making peace in our country and continue to set example in the world, like we did for the past 52 years.

Brain Upgrade

When was your last upgrade of knowledge about something that you are good at?

Yes, I am talking about training. How often is training needed? What kind of training is suitable? I think this are all very personal, and up to every individual to define.

And I am attending my organization's training again. My organization is about training Leaders, and Entrepreneurs. We are all young leaders and young entrepreneurs.

Different people has different requirements on training. Some will just want to knowledge that is suffice for them to get their job done with minimum certification involved. Some will ask for real academic foundation, so that they can use it for future advancement of their job.
